| Description | For the remaining seven circRNA candidates, we tested circularity using previously established assays: 1) resistance to the 3-5 exonuclease RNase R and 2) Sanger sequencing of PCR amplicons to confirm the sequence of predicted head-to-tail splice junctions. With these assays we validated 7/7 tested candidates suggesting that the overall false positive rate in our data sets is low. |
