Description    Luciferase assay revealed that miR-548f-5p mimic significantly decreased luciferase activity mediated by wild-type circACTA2 sequence but not its mutant. We used biotin-labeled circACTA2 probe to pull down microRNA(s) complementary to circACTA2 sequences and revealed a 20-fold enrichment of miR-548f-5p in the circACTA2 pulled down sediments. The results of RNA in situ hybridization were consistent with interactions between circACTA2 and miR-548f-5p.
